Tariffs
Statnett and other Norwegian grid companies are subject to monopoly control. Our revenues come in the form of tariffs from our customers and from congestion revenues. The amount of revenue allowed is regulated by the Norwegian Energy Regulatory Authority and is set for one year at a time. The tariff consists of a fixed part and a variable part. However, the total amount must not exceed the revenue determined by the authority.
