The four Nordic TSO’s - Statnett, Energinet, Svenska Kraftnät and Fingrid - can confirm the go live date of mFRR EAM March 4th, 2025. The go live changes how the transmission systems in the Nordics are balanced, going from 60 minutes manual balancing to 15 minutes automated balancing.
Reservations for extreme weather conditions and extraordinary situations in grid operations must be taken. The go live date and time will therefore be reconfirmed on the 3rd of March, 2025.
