Lund Larsen has extensive management experience from the finance and energy sectors, with a background from both private and public sectors. For the last ten years, she has held executive positions in DNB with responsibilities within finance, analysis and strategy. Previously, she held senior management roles in Statkraft within financial controlling, investments and risk management.
She also has a background as a consultant in Accenture. Lund Larsen has broad experiences within financial management, strategy and change management and holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Business Studies degree from the Norwegian School of Economics.
-Statnett is facing massive tasks in the coming years. We have investment plans in the grid of up to 100 BNOK to facilitate electrification of existing industries and the establishment of new industry ventures. This puts an emphasis on efficiency, good governance and financing. Cathrine's management experience and competencies will be core to achieving this, underlines CEO Hilde Tonne of Statnett.
Cathrine Lund Larsen will start the position as of June 1st.
The current CFO and EVP Finance & Corporate Affairs, Knut Hundhammer, will move on to a new role as Special Advisor to the CEO as of June 1st. Hundhammer has been a EVP in the company for 11 years, and has held a wide array of responsibilities for Corporate Affairs in addition to his role as CFO.
-Knut has been core to the development of the company. Statnett has made substantial investments and increasing responsibilities over the last decade. Knut's contribution to the execution of this has been invaluable. He has secured good governance and stable finances.
